Simple Tomato Recipe

Tomato sauce is actually very simple to make, just use of several pieces of tomato then blend this tomato with other spices and then turn to pasta. Use good tomato from tomato farm. Other ingredient are actually optional, if don’t add it may will not good taste. Boiling water can be added to tomato for several minutes, this make tomato become little ripen.

Tomato recipe can as follows:
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 rib of celery with leaves, chopped
  • 2 tee spoon of olive oil
  • 5 leaves of basil, torn don’t cut
  • 1 pound (2 or 3 medium) fresh, ripe tomatoes – skinned, seeded and drained, or 114 oz tin of Italian plum tomatoes.
Other optional ingredients are:
  • ½ dried chili pepper, pepperoncino to make taste
  • 1 clove or garlic, minced
  • 2-3 spigs of parsley, chopped
Using saucepan with olive oil, sauté the carrot, onion, celery and whatever of optional until change to transparent color for about 5 minutes on medium heat. Then add the basil leaves, and add tomato, blend together.

Simmer on low heat until the sauce thickens, about half an hour. Do not add water if it becomes too dry, add a bit of olive oil.
